Contest History

The Michigan Pup and Trainer Contest was founded in 2016. Originally, it was started as a feeder contest for Great Lakes Pup and Trainer (GLPT), under the name Great Lakes Pup and Trainer Michigan (GLPTMI). When GLPT ended in 2019, this contest continued on under a new name as a stand-alone title.  The 2020 and 2021 contests however, due to global health concerns like much of the world, were put on hold.
